A governed advertising operator through Claude
Synter gives Claude workflows and tools for reading advertising performance, building audiences and creative, planning launches, optimizing spend, and reporting across connected platforms.
How it fits together
- The Synter plugin packages eight operator workflows, advertising craft skills, specialist agents, a safety and voice hook, an output style, and automatic MCP configuration.
- The hosted MCP at
https://mcp.syntermedia.aiexposes cross-platform advertising, audience, creative, attribution, and analytics tools. - Your Synter API key authenticates connector access. Configure it in the plugin's sensitive field or, for MCP clients that support custom headers, as
X-Synter-Key—never paste it into a conversation. Standalone Claude Custom Connector UI does not expose arbitrary HTTP headers. - Your brief and approvals set the business scope and authority boundary. The plugin defaults to recommend-then-execute and asks for explicit approval before spend-changing actions.
Production access is separate from private-alpha intake
The Synter.dev private-alpha form requests consideration for an isolated, sandbox-only developer cohort with no live spend. It does not install the plugin, create a production account, issue an API key, or grant live-account authority.
Users in authorized Synter Media customer workspaces install from the canonical Synter plugin repository, then use a Synter API key created at syntermedia.ai/developer. Access remains limited to the Synter organizations and ad accounts authorized for that identity.
Where the plugin works
Per Anthropic's official plugin documentation, bundled skills work in Claude chat on the web, the Chat tab in Claude Desktop, and Claude Cowork. Hooks and sub-agents run only in Cowork and appear grayed out in chat. Claude Code supports the plugin through marketplace commands.
